Hamahiga no Tonfa Introduction with Katherine Loukopoulos

Join INKKS Advisor, Katherine Loukopoulos Sensei, for an introduction to the kata, Hamahiga no Tonfa! The tonfa (aka “tunfa,” or “tuifa”) is an Okinawan weapon with origins in Indochina, where a weapon called mae sun sawk (wooden arm shield) was developed, and eventually exported to Okinawa, where its forearm lashing and knuckle guard were eventually removed, creating the tonfa we know, today.

This event is FREE for INKKS members, and just $20 for non-members!
